Downtown St. Paul Winter Engagement Session
Usually winter blesses photographers with overcast almost any time of the day, so I figured we would have no issues with a harsh midday sun. However, Ben and Sophie's engagement session took place on one of the only days in the past month without a cloud in the sky. Definitely had to adjust some poses so no one was blinded by the sun. We started outside George Latimer Library in downtown St. Paul (formerly the James J. Hill Library), before briefly going inside for a few pictures on the staircase. We all parked in the Victory parking ramp a few blocks away, so before getting in our cars they did a quick champagne pop on the rooftop of the parking garage (gone slightly wrong lol... check out the photos on that). I captured their proposal this past summer, and am pumped for their wedding this fall!
