Hannah and Brandon's Rainy Day Engagement Session in West Saint Paul
The weather forecast was not looking good for us for our early fall engagement session. I texted Hannah before hand and asked if they wanted to just postpone for later in the week after the storms were done, OR if they had any interest in a The Notebook inspired downpour engagement session. (I was really hoping they'd pick the second option and they were down!) The rain held off for the first 10 minutes and the overcast lighting was amazing. And then the rain came... It rained so dang hard, and I could not see a thing through my glasses so I was really just hoping the pics were turning out.
This session took place at Dodge Nature Center in West Saint Paul, and it is hands down my new favorite location for engagement pictures in the Twin Cities. The nature center has beautiful farms buildings, woods, prairie land, and a pond with a path running through it. If you're looking for some woodsy, outdoors, and romantic vibes for your engagement session this is the place for that.
