Lindsey + Josiah @ Emery hotel, MPLS

A bit of a backstory first: One day while scrolling through Instagram, I saw someone post a picture of the most delicious looking pappardelle pasta I had ever seen. I immediately dm'ed them to ask where I could get this pasta. It was from a restaurant in downtown MPLS called Giulia. I went to check it out later that week and was so impressed with the interior architecture of the building. It was in the lobby of the Emery Hotel downtown. There are large pillars everywhere, marble floor and walls, and cute staircases too. I love outdoor couples sessions during golden hour but knew that this would be super fun for a more unique night time session. I was so excited that Lindsey and Josiah were down to try it out. The two have known each other for 3 years but didn't start dating until more recently. We had a fun time running around the lobby finding different spots for pictures and ended the night with a few quick shots outside even though it was cold and rainy.
